“THIS WE KNOW” DANIEL 11 - AUGUST 23, 2026

So much about life feels uncertain — but what can we actually know for certain? In this message from Daniel 11, Pastor Logan walks through one of the most detailed prophetic passages in Scripture and asks a simple question: what do we actually know?

We see God's control in the past. Daniel 11:1-35 lays out roughly 200 years of history between the exile and the arrival of Christ — including the rise of the evil king Antiochus Epiphanes — all foretold in advance. Kingdoms rise and fall, but God has always been in control.

We find a paradigm for the present and future. Verses 36-45 show a pattern of evil rising and exalting itself, a pattern that echoes throughout history. Evil will have its day, but God will have his way.

And we're reminded of the power of God's presence. In Daniel 10, an angel tells Daniel, "Don't be afraid... Take courage. Be strong." Knowing we're deeply loved by God gives us courage even when we don't understand every detail of what's ahead.

So how do we respond? We resist the false narratives of our culture. We teach, growing in truth together. And we change, trusting God to refine us even when we don't feel it happening.
