Mission Statement of Cornerstone Community Church:

Cornerstone is looking for a skilled to assist the staff with the administrative functions of Cornerstone Church.

Essential Responsibilities Office:

- Monday -Thursday arrives at 8:45am to get the office ready for the day’s operations. Close up for day & lock front door at 1pm.

- Maintain Office hours (9am to 1pm)

- Actively participate in all administrative functions, ensuring smooth operation.

- Oversee all front office procedures and functions.

- Provide administrative support to Pastors.

- Welcome visitors, answer phones, respond to emails, assist members, and interact with venders with kindness and professionalism.

- Effectively communicate with staff, members, and the church body as a whole.

- Coordinate the main calendar, including vendor and group scheduling.

- Be available and wiling to assist those in need who come to our offices, including praying with them when appropriate.

- Scheduling for deacons helps ministry and other related activities.

- Ensure the workroom is stocked with necessary items.

- Order for housekeepers when asked.

- Order for groups when requested/approved.

- Process connects cards, visitor cards, prayer request, name tags, membership, databases, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Attend Staff Prayer and All Staff Meeting (additional paid time).

- Perform other duties assigned by Director of Operations and Finance.

Spiritual Qualifications:

- Must have a personal relationship and committed follower of Jesus Christ.

- Must regard the Bible as inerrant and the final authority for life and faith.

- Must practice spiritual disciplines of prayer, Bible study, worship, and giving.

- Must hold to the mission, vision, and values of Cornerstone Community Church.

Skills:

- Proficiency in computer skills including Word & Excel. (Mac Computers)

- Quick learner. Good Attitude. Team Player.

- Basic skills with Google Suite.

- Excellent verbal and written skills.

- Exercise good discernment when working with adults.

- Commitment to confidentiality regarding all records, both church and staff, and the members.

Education/Experience:

- 2 years of professional work experience preferred.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
