Becoming a Member at Cornerstone Community Church

Membership at Cornerstone guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life that God created for you. Membership is made up of two steps that equip you to 1) connect to the church and 2) discover the strengths and your purposeful design and use your God-given gifts to go with Jesus and make a difference in the lives of others.

Attending a Membership Class is the first step in becoming a member. Join us for our Welcome Lunch on the 2nd Sunday of each month, right after the 10:30 AM service in RM 12.

Enjoy lunch while learning about our church’s beliefs, leadership, structure, financial stewardship, and how we work together as a community of faith.

*Membership is open to individuals 16 years and older.

The Steps to Become a Member

  • Step 1

    Attend the Welcome Lunch.
    RSVP for our Welcome Lunch, held every 2nd Sunday of the month. During this time, you’ll learn more about Cornerstone’s mission, beliefs, and ways to get involved. Completion of this class is the first step toward membership.

  • Step 2

    Sign the Membership Covenant
    After the class, you’ll be invited to sign the membership covenant, your commitment to live out your faith in community at Cornerstone through worship, service, and discipleship. Once submitted, an elder will reach out to connect with you and walk alongside you in this next step.

  • Step 3

    Be Welcomed into the Church Family
    Join us on the 4th Sunday of the month, where you’ll be welcomed in front of the congregation. During the service, you’ll publicly affirm your faith and commitment as part of the Cornerstone family.

Want to get more involved? God has uniquely gifted you to serve and make a difference! Join us every 2nd Sunday after the 10:30 AM service for a special luncheon to explore how you can become part of the Cornerstone Team. This luncheon takes place alongside our Welcome Lunch—we’d love to see you there!


*Youth as young as the 6th grade can serve in the church with the help of adults.
