About Hume
Hume Christian Camps is a multi-site youth camp and adult retreat center providing epic, high-energy, life-changing camp experiences. We partner with churches, schools, teams, and groups to create distraction-free environments where they encounter Jesus Christ and experience the Gospel At Play.
Middle School
Hume Lake Winter Camp for Middle School students is an epic weekend in the snowy Sierra Nevada, filled with thrilling activities like snowboarding, tubing, and epic snowball fights. Beyond the fun, it's a time for students to grow deeper in their faith through dynamic worship, engaging speakers, and meaningful small group discussions. With a perfect blend of adventure and spiritual connection, Hume Lake Winter Camp offers unforgettable memories, new friendships, and life-changing encounters with God—all in the beauty of a winter wonderland!
High School
Hume Lake Winter Camp for High School students offers an action-packed weekend of adventure, bonding, and spiritual growth in the stunning Sierra Nevada. From exhilarating snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating to late-night hangouts and intense snowball fights, it's non-stop fun in a beautiful winter setting. More than just adventure, students will experience powerful worship, hear inspiring messages, and dive deep into meaningful discussions about faith and life. It’s the perfect opportunity to recharge, connect with friends, and strengthen their relationship with God, making memories that will last a lifetime!

How does Hume handle health and safety at camp?
At Hume we care about providing the highest level of healthcare to our campers and staff. Check out this important info for everything you need to know about health and safety while at camp.
How do you get there?
We will be utilizing adult leaders and both rented and personally owned vehicles. Drivers are over the age of 25 and insured by the church.
What adults are going?
Most of our Volunteer Team attends and is ready and excited to hang out with your student! Hume is also fully staffed with a team of adults ready to serve your kids!
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Students will be assigned to cabins that are separated by gender! Each cabin will be Cornerstone students only and they will each have at least 1 of our adult leaders in it.
