As I have shared in previous updates and preached on Sunday: we are disciplined to meet together wherever! (Sermon link) 

We, Cornerstone leadership, have settled on the conviction that God wants us to provide an in-person option for our church (Hebrews 10:24-25). We also believe God wants us to comply with governmental guidelines as far as possible ( Romans 13:1-5). This is one of the revisions we are learning in 2020. God is so good my friends. Don’t forget this reality.  

I know many of us loved having the excuse to gather back inside the Worship Center due to the bad air quality. But, we recognize, that while our building is a wonderful and comfortable option it is not essential to our gathering. Being together as God’s people to worship the one true God is what is essential…what is important is that we gather! Therefore, while the government restrictions stay in place and the weather permits, we will worship outside (unless the outdoor conditions are not reasonable).

I cannot predict how we will meet together every week, if 2020 has taught us anything, it is that we cat meet anywhere...online, outside, in our cars. What matters is that we meet. We are disciplined to meet together wherever. Let’s live this reality out! 

As your family plans and prepares for how you will join us in worship, here are some of the details for you to know: 

• 8:45 am OUTSIDE Worship Service under the tent: 
• The nursery will be open. 
• Outside children’s church will be provided up to fifth grade, check-in is at the playground
• We recommend wearing closed toe shoes or applying bug spray at the service, we have been battling red ants. 
• If you have a lawn chair, please bring it. Otherwise, we will provide you a chair! 
• If you prefer to keep your distance from the large gathering, we encourage you to worships from your car or bring your own shade!
• This service will be broadcast to people in their cars in the parking lot on 102.3 FM 
• You can still sign up for community groups in-person on Sunday or connect with Doug (doug@ccchowchilla.com) about starting your own! (link to the fair)
• 10:30 am ONLINE service (filmed live in the Worship center) 
• We will be streaming a live online service from inside the sanctuary. 
• You can attend the online service on youtube, Facebook, or our website! 
• Please consider sharing the stream for the online service. This is such a simple and easy way to share Jesus with our friends! You never know what a simple share may do!
