THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE OLD

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO ENGAGE WITH THE SERMON THIS WEEK!

A COVID-19 BLESSING (NUMBERS 6:22-27)

1 - THE LORD IS FOR YOU...NO MATTER WHAT (crazy love)

Numbers 6:24 The Lord bless you and keep you

2 - THE LORD IS WITH YOU...SHINING (uncomfortable grace)

Numbers 6:25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;

3 - THE LORD IS SMILING ON YOU (intimate fellowship)

Numbers 6:26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

BUT HOW CAN THIS BLESSING APPLY TO US?

JESUS SPEAKS THIS SAME BLESSING OVER US WITH HIS NAIL PIERCED HANDS!

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Luke 24:50-51 And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

Let not your hearts be troubled, as though you were beneath the storm cloud of the curse. Know ye not that the curse is altogether turned away from us, for He was “made a curse for us”? The blessing alone remains, and Jesus Himself remains to repeat it. - Charles Spurgeon

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THIS BLESSING?

1 - RECEIVE IT

John 1:9-14 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

2 - GIVE IT

1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
